Gateway House in Clapham was remediated under the Building Safety Fund, with CCS Facades as Principal Contractor. The £1.2m works package required extensive planning and delivery to ensure compliance and safety while maintaining full resident occupation. The scope included removal of the existing façade, structural improvements (including unforeseen works), and installation of a new façade. The ground-floor M&S store remained open throughout, with deliveries, noisy works, and waste removal restricted to agreed timescales.

  • Intrusive investigations and cloud point 3D surveys

  • Principal Contractor management with residents in occupation

  • Removal of combustible EPS render system

  • Blockwork remedials, including wind posts

  • Installation of A1/A2-rated Sto render system

  • Renewal of fire and cavity barriers

  • Weatherproofing details

  • Final certification and EWS1 form
